Following the presentation of CSMSS core missions, the Czech delegation discussed with IRSEM fellows a wide range of questions related to the impact of the War in Ukraine on high-intensity warfare and security, but also the topic of the EU-NATO dialogue. Another part of the discussion focused on improving cooperation between IRSEM and CSMSS within the framework of NESSI.

NESSI (Network of European Strategic Studies Institutes) is a network created in 2021 under IRSEM leadership that gathers seventeen European institutes acting as counterparts to IRSEM – including CSMSS. Germany will hold NESSI presidency for the year 2023.
