IRSEM welcomes Mrs. Neema Chusi, Head of the Peace and Security Council secretariat of the African Union

On 7 June 2024, within the framework of the programme of invitations to prominent figures (PIPA for its French acronym) depending on the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, our Institute was honoured to receive and welcome Mrs. Neema Chusi, Head of the Peace and Security Council secretariat of the African Union (AU), to visit.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss IRSEM's mission within the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the political and social dynamics underway on the African continent.

The IRSEM/AU meeting, which was attended by representatives of the IHEDN (Institut des Hautes études de défense nationale), also aimed to create new synergies in the field of strategic research.
