Biographie

Dusan Bozalka est doctorant en sciences de l'information au Centre d'Analyse et de Recherche Interdisciplinaire sur l'Étude des Médias (CARISM) à l'Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas. Ses recherches portent sur les pratiques informationnelles et numériques, en particulier la diffusion de récits complotistes stratégiques au sein du contre-public QAnon dans les espaces numériques anglophones, francophones, germanophones et italophones. À ce titre, il utilise une approche computationnelle mixte en combinant les concepts de communication stratégique avec l'analyse sociologique des réseaux sociaux multiplateformes. Dusan Bozalka est affilié à l'Institut de Recherche Stratégique de l'École Militaire (IRSEM) en tant que résident doctorant, étant donné que ses recherches bénéficient d’une bourse doctorale de la Direction générale des relations internationales et de la stratégie (DGRIS). Au cours de ses recherches, il était doctorant invité au Centre Marc Bloch à Berlin, où il a étudié la formation de communautés numériques sur des plateformes alternatives. Il a récemment été nommé (2024) pour recevoir une bourse Schuman Fulbright récompensant des projets innovants, ce qui lui permet de poursuivre ses recherches à l'Université George Washington. Dusan Bozalka est titulaire d'une licence en traduction de l'Université de Mons et de deux masters en relations internationales et en histoire de la Sorbonne et de l'Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas. Il parle couramment le français, l'anglais, l'allemand et l'italien, des compétences qui facilitent ses recherches et analyses interculturelles.

Dusan Bozalka is a PhD candidate in Information Sciences at the Centre d'Analyse et de Recherche Interdisciplinaire sur l'Étude des Médias (CARISM) at Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas. His research focuses on informational and digital practices, particularly the dissemination of strategic conspiracy narratives within the QAnon counter-public in English, French, German, and Italian digital spaces. As such, he uses a mixed computational approach by combining strategic communication concepts with sociological analysis of multiplatform social networks. Dusan Bozalka is affiliated with the Institute of Strategic Research at the École Militaire (IRSEM) as a PhD Resident, as his research is supported by a doctoral grant from the Directorate General for International Relations and Strategy (DGRIS). During his research, he was a Visiting PhD researcher at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin, where he studied the formation of digital communities on alternative platforms. He was recently nominated (2024) to receive a Schuman Fulbright Scholarship rewarding innovative projects, which allows him to pursue his research at George Washington University. Dusan Bozalka holds a Bachelor's degree in Translation from the University of Mons and two Master's degrees in International Relations and History from the Sorbonne and Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas. He is fluent in French, English, German, and Italian, skills that facilitate his cross-cultural research and analysis.
