The Armament and Defense Economy departement deals with economic issues related to defense and, more broadly, with strategic issues resulting from technological developments, problems of access to natural resources and those related to environmental issues. The research work of the field is based on a multidisciplinary approach, both qualitiative and quantitative, which mobilizes various scientific fields: economics, history of technologies, and geography.
