L’Institut de recherche stratégique de l’Ecole Militaire (IRSEM) et l’International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) ont le plaisir de vous inviter au lancement parisien du volume Military Balance 2019. L’évènement se déroulera en anglais et en français.
The Military Balance is an authoritative assessment of the military capabilities and defence economics of 171 countries, published by The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). Detailed A–Z entries list each country’s military organisation, personnel numbers, equipment inventories, and relevant economic and demographic data. Regional and select country analyses cover the major developments affecting defence policy and procurement, and defence economics. The Military Balance is an indispensable handbook for anyone conducting serious analysis of security policy and military affairs.
A team from the IISS will visit IRSEM on 25 February 2019, to discuss key findings from this year’s edition and global trends in defence policy, capability and defence economics.
